Handcrafted Functional Art. Rooted in the Lowcountry.

Heirloom-quality serving boards, custom humidors, and decorative boxes—precision-crafted on the second story of a Beaufort workshop

Three Stories. One Workshop

Second Story Woodcraft is born from the belief that every piece of wood—and every person—has a next chapter.

After a 35-year career in the tech industry as a programmer and CTO, I traded the digital world for the tactile beauty of the workshop. Today, I operate from the second floor of my garage in Beaufort, South Carolina, where I give unique pieces of wood a "second story" as functional art.

We don't just make products; we create heirlooms. By blending the disciplined precision of engineering with a deep respect for natural materials, we ensure that every board, box, and humidor is built to last for generations.
